We're looking for motivated individuals to fill the position of Engineering Specialist - Data.

Our client is a leading telecommunications company that provides a wide range of wireline and wireless telecommunications products and services including data, Internet Protocol (IP), voice, video and entertainment services.

We are currently recruiting Data Engineering Specialists for their office in Markham, Ontario. The focus of this position is to guide and support Telus Sales Teams and customers by leveraging exceptional technical professionalism to position technology and service solutions.

The successful candidate will possess an engineering degree with demonstrated experience in telecommunication, Wireless and/or IT industry. Key responsibilities include:

• Determining technical requirements and lead the design creation process, based on customer needs.
• Writing technical responses/creating detailed equipment quotations (for solicited and unsolicited proposals)
• Maintaining appropriate levels of knowledge of industry, technology, products and services across the breadth of the solutions portfolio
• Work with the sales and support teams to recommend technology and vendors when creating proposals, perform competitive analysis, and support successful deal closure.
