We're looking for motivated individuals to fill the position of Engineering Specialist - Voice.

Our client is a leading telecommunications company that provides a wide range of wireline and wireless telecommunications products and services including data, Internet Protocol (IP), voice, video and entertainment services.

We are currently recruiting Voice Engineering Specialists for their office in Markham, Ontario. The focus of this position is to guide and support Sales Teams and customers by leveraging exceptional technical professionalism to position technology and service solutions for both traditional and IP-enabled telephony solutions - particularly for Nortel technology.

The successful candidate will possess an engineering degree with demonstrated experience in telecommunication, Wireless and/or IT industry. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating solutions for a wide variety of voice environments
• Coordinating with other technical personnel to establish the detailed specifications and configurations for maintained systems
• Querying maintained systems for configuration details
• Utilizing propriety ERP system to create quotations based on system design
• Work with the sales and support teams to recommend technology and vendors when creating proposals, perform competitive analysis, and support successful deal closure.
